Last Sunday night Michelle and Roni threw Jeff a “Bon Voyage” party at the Enterprise Fish Company in Santa Monica. They reserved the outdoor patio around a fire pit and the night started with some delectable seafood appetizers and refreshing cocktails.

After the guests arrived we filled up glasses of Dom Perignon champagne and toasted Jeff. While the strawberries in the glass made me feel like a teen girl on prom night, looking around at the good friends and co-workers who came out to salute Jeff on his ambitious journey was inspiring.

So as the night raged on and the drinks flowed freely, Jeff anticipated leaving us for a short while. His adventure into the exciting unknown that would await him had gone from fantasy to reality.
